Past and Founding CEO of the Children's Hospital Association
Mark Wietecha is the former CEO of the Children's Hospital Association (CHA), where he championed children's health advocacy in Washington, D.C. His leadership was pivotal in advancing key policies, including the reauthorization of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and the ACE Kids Act, which focuses on care for children with complex health needs. Wietecha also secured billions in federal CARES Act relief funding for children's hospitals during the pandemic. Previously, he was executive chairman at Kurt Salmon, recognized as one of Consulting Magazine's "Most Influential Consultants." He holds a Master’s in pharmacology and an MBA.
